The 5th SMART GREEN ISLAND MAKEATHON which was organised by ITQ GmbH in cooperation with Dr. Stetter ITQ was a great success for all 255 participants out of which were 175 students of 35 universities and from 20 different countries. During the four productive and fun days, the participants formed a total of 18 different teams and developed numerous innovative prototypes together.
The seven Industry Challenges, presented by the sponsors, once again were very well received this year and together with the other ideas were finally presented for the first time on the big stage on the last day. At the following get-together, the prototypes of the teams were exhibited and the success of the event was celebrated the Spanish way with wine and tapas.
